EcoSorb® CS is a high activity granular activated carbon manufactured by steam activation from select coconut shell charcoal. It is ideally suited for use in vapour phase applications such as solvent recovery, VOC adsorption in air treatment processes and the purification of industrial and natural gas. Due to its extensively developed micropore structure, EcoSorb® CS is particularly designed for the adsorption of low molecular weight compounds present in low concentrations in air or gas.

The perfect balance between adsorption and transport pores provides optimum performance in a wide range of water treatment applications. The product is a high density adsorbent and provides maximum volume activity. The high hardness and mechanical strength ensures negligible losses during backwashing, air scouring and multiple reactivations.ET
